Hi! I'm Irene, illustrator and graphic designer from Spain.

 

My story with illustration didn't start when I was a child, it started much later.

 

It was towards the end of 2020 when it all started, I saw a tv series and I wanted to draw the characters. I had the limiting thought of “I don't know how to draw people”, but I wanted to draw them so much that I did it. From then on, I knew I wanted to pursue illustration professionally because I was passionate about drawing. In a self-taught way I've learned to improve in digital drawing and painting and that if you overcome limiting thoughts, you can discover passions we didn't know you had and open yourself to wonderful paths.

 

Regarding graphic design, it has been a self-learning path developing my skills since I was a teenager. Since that time I have been creating designs for my personal projects (branding, social networks, posters...) and other projects for other people.

 

And this is where my two passions come together, two different artistic disciplines but similar at the same time. My illustrations are traditionally drawn and digitally painted and there are even creations where the two worlds come together. Where does my inspiration come from? From music, artists I follow, tv series, movies and nature.

With my creations what I want is to make real what people want and make them happy. That when they have that illustration or graphic design project, helps them feel better, transmits good vibes, that is a ray of light in their lives. What I want is to create more moments of happiness in the day to day and inspire that if I have been able to draw and create a path for myself, other people who want to can do it too.
